Wyken Hall Gardens surround a beautiful Elizabethan manor house (not open to the public).
The vibrant garden was mostly created at the end of the 20th century. Hornbeam and yew hedges divide it into a series of outdoor rooms. The delightful knot garden and formal herb garden were designed by Arabella Lennox-Boyd.
The rose garden features old roses and has a long pergola smothered with flowers. A border of hot colours runs along the outside wall of the kitchen garden.
The traditional kitchen garden has fruit trees and a greenhouse.
On the other side of the garden is a copper beech maze and a nuttery. A walk through ancient woodlands leads to the Wyken Vineyards.
Visitors can buy the wine in the Leaping Hare Country Store situated in a 16th century barn and there is also a restaurant.
