This romantic 4 acre garden, near Stourhead house, is full of interest throughout the year, with unusual features and ideas. Grass paths lead through unique daffodils and spring flowers.

There is a vast collection of rhododendrons, fragrant azaleas, magnolias and camellias and over 270 different hydrangeas. The peaceful garden also has spectacular blue poppies, delphiniums and many other unusual plants. Immense hedges, including a huge wavy-topped group of Leyland cypress, shelter herbaceous borders.

Visitors can sit here and admire butterflies and dragonflies darting over the pitcher plant pond.

Dried flowers are grown and dried in the garden and bouquets of these, together with many interesting plants, can be purchased here.
