These delightful woodland gardens surround a beautiful Palladian house with sweeping lawns and fine trees.

Constable Burton Hall (not open to the public) was designed by the celebrated architect, John Carr of York.

In the spring the charming terraced gardens have impressive displays of snowdrops, aconites and daffodils.

Other highlights of the gardens include superb lilies, ferns, hardy shrubs, roses and wild flowers.

Close to the entrance is a stream, bog garden and rockery.
