North HerefordshireLeominster

Leominster, a half-timbered town, or so it look like!, dating from the 7th Century, and based on the wool trade and the export of the famous Hereford breed of cattle. Medieval buildings all around this town, overhanging the street, but take the time to look at the church, the Old Priory, Grange Court, formerly the town hall, and the Georgian streets. Good touring base for the whole of the area.

Visit the half-timbered villages of  Weobley, Eardisland and Pembridge.
