Yat, on a 5 mile bend of the River Wye with great views,
Symonds Yat Rock is a wooded limestone outcrop where the river
loops around, spot the protected Peregine Falcons flying from
their nest.
Gets busy, but there is ample car parking.
There is a hand-pulled Rope Ferry across the river. Marked
walks ready to explore. Visitor and Heritage Centres, and
a Maze nearby.
