Located in the city centre and opposite Carlisle Rail Station, The County Hotel is just a 5-minute walk from Carlisle Cathedral. This hotel offers rooms with free Wi-Fi, the Gallerie Restaurant and free parking. A TV, work desk and tea and coffee making facilities are included in each room at the County. Some rooms have views of King Henry VIII's historic Citadel.

The restaurant serves traditional and continental breakfasts as well as international cuisine in the evenings. The Portland Resident’s Bar has a wide selection of drinks and a bar menu.
