Please note that during quiet periods, the dining room will be closed or will have restricted opening times. Breakfast is served from 08:00 until 09:30. Dinner is served from 18:30 until 19:00. From Central London:
- Take the A3 for Portsmouth then M275 to the ferry terminal Isle of Wight, which will sail to Fishbourne (IOW).
- Take the A3054 for Ryde and follow this route to Sandown, then to Shanklin (A3055).
- When reaching Shanklin, you will
see signposts for Ventnor (A3055). Follow this road which is Queens Road for about 2 minutes and you will see the Hotel on the right hand side (large car park).
- Our hotel is also located within walking distance from the high street, Regent Street and the East Cliff promenade.
From London towards Southampton: - Take M3 and follow signs for Southampton Docks M27 (M271) Red Funnel Ferry - Isle of Wight, ferry gate 7. - When arriving in East Cowes IOW take the A3021 for Whippingham then the A3054 for Newport until signposts for Godshill A3020. This route will take you to Shanklin and we are just a few minutes from Shanklin Old Village. If you get lost, just give us a call.
There is also a train service to Shanklin from London Waterloo via Portsmouth Harbour.

Area Information
Shanklin is situated on the South Coast of the Island, making it ideal for both the leisure and business traveller. It has a fine sandy beach and a charming old village with picturesque thatched cottages, craft shops, pubs and restaurants. The well renowned Shanklin Chine, where cascading water falls over 100 feet, is just a few minutes walk from the hotel .
