Tides Reach Hotel is a pretty seafront hotel with free Wi-Fi, free parking, lovely views and leisure facilities. Salcombe’s bustling harbour is a 2-mile walk along the scenic coast, or a 20-minute ferry ride.
On the doorstep are sandy coves, scenic coastal walks and sea-swimming. The hotel’s boathouse, an old life boat station, is on the beach and provides facilities for wind surfing, sailing, scuba diving and canoeing. Tide’s Reach’s indoor pool is a luxurious tropical suntrap. For further relaxation there is a sauna, spa bath and a beauty spa.

From Salcombe:
- On the outskirts of Salcombe look for the turning right into Sandhills Road (signposted North & South Sands).
- At the end of the road you will be facing the sea, turn right here.
- Keep the sea to your left and follow the road past North
Sands. Go up and over the next hill (which is quite narrow) into South Sands.
- Once at South Sands, Tides Reach is right opposite the beach.
