Blakesley Hall is an Elizabethan yeoman farmhouse, now located on the outskirts of the city of Birmingham.
The charming timber-framed building dates from 1590.
Inside there are period rooms including a fine Long Gallery and Great Parlour.
The Painted Chamber has important surviving 16th century wall-paintings.
Blakesley Hall also has displays on timber-framed buildings and 17th century life.
