  Here are just some of the attractions you can visit on Jersey. There are always lots of events going on - from festivals to walks and tours.
   
  Amaizin Maze, La Hougue Farm  La Grande Route de St Pierre, St Peter
  For ten weeks each summer La Hougue Farm provides entertainment for all the family.  Activities include tractor rides, go carts, a water pistol range, an adventure playground, and daily parrot and falcon shows. The highlight of the farm is the Maize Maze, created each year with a special theme. On every Sunday in August the farm organises a Torchlight Maze (19:00-20:00).

  Corbière Lighthouse  La Corbière, St Brelade
  Corbière Lighthouse has a dramatic location on the hazadous south west coast of Jersey.  Built in 1874, it was the first reinforced concrete lighthouse to be erected in the British Isles.  The lighthouse can be reached on foot at low tide but beware.being cut off by the tide.
   
  Les Petites Trains De Jersey
  Take a ride around Jersey's principal parish on 'Major Pierson' , named after the gallant soldier who defeated the invading French in 1781.  A guide shows places of interest from Harve Des Pays to the Waterfront and provides facts about Jersey's maritime heritage.  An alternative journey, on 'Lillie' or 'Terence', runs along Les Petites Trains 'main line' to the harbour village of St Aubin.   Admission Fee
   
  The Shell Garden  Mont Les Vaux, St Aubin
  n 1957 Colin Soudin began on a fantastic shell garden to enhance the hillside around his newly built house. Shells for his works of art come from Jersey and all over the world.  The shells, such as the Jersey Ormer, Emperor Scallop and Common Cockle, were embedded in red-coloured cement to create shell churches, mermaids, boats, seahorses, swams and more.  With over 3 million shells, this is the largest shell garden in the world. One of Jersey's most popular tourist attractions.

  Jersey Opera House
  Recently refurbished, the Jersey Opera House, seating 645, presents a full programme of performing arts, both professional and amateur, throughout the year.

  Treasures of the Earth  La Route de L'Etacq, St Ouen
  This attraction houses a previously unseen collection of gems, crystals and fossils. Crystals and fossils are re-created in an 'underground cavern'.  Other displays include the Red Dome Mine and 'magic' caves, glowing with fluorescent minerals.  Features are a 65 million year old skeleton and the world's largest amethyst geode, weighing 12.5 million carats. Watch a goldsmith and gem cutter at work.  Outside there are huge gem crystal fountains, complete with bronze animals.

  Jersey Lavender Farm Rue du Pont Marquet, St Brelade
  On the south west of the island, this is a working farm surrounded by spectacular lavender fields.  The lavender begins to flower in mid-May and by the end of August the harvest is complete. Jersey's perfume-making tradition is continued on the farm.  A video explains the work of the farm through the seasons. The 'Bottling Room' shows the how lavender flowers are transformed into perfume.  Ggardens and woods, a National Collection of lavenders, herb beds and a bamboo collection. Gift shop.

  La Mare Vineyards and Distillery  St Mary
  La Mare, Jersey's first commerial vineyard, planted in 1972 in 12 acres on the north west coast of the island.  Visitors can learn more about the process of wine-making and distilling.  After a stroll through the vineyards, orchards and gardens, taste three estate wines during a audio-visual presentation.  In the Distillery discover the art of distilling and oak ageing of Jersey Apple Brandy.  La Mare produces other handmade Jersey delicacies such Black Butter, mustards, jams, and chocolates.  At certain times visitors can see, smell and taste the chocolates and even mould a chocolate figure.  Adventure playground, Jersey calves and miniature ponies.

  La Moulin de Quétivel  Mont Fallu, St Peter
  Built on the site of an earlier mill , this is the only working watermill on Jersey.  Restored by the National Trust for Jersey in 1979, visitors can now watch the mill-wheel in action.  Displays illustrating the history of milling and mills on Jersey and a herb garden.  Woodland walks. Stone ground organic flour produced at the mill on sale in the shop.
