Mid KentFaversham

ArmsFaversham, one of the nicest towns in Kent to visit, just inland on a river estuary. Originally prosperous with the wool trade, and agriculture too, being in the Kent fruit area.

Lots of old buildings dating from medieval times, over 450 listed buildings!, such as the Freemasons Hall, and the Guildhall where the market is held on Tuesday, Friday and Saturday. The restored Norman parish church, St. Mary of Charity, is one of the largest in Kent.

Shopping area and all facilities in this thriving town.

Tourist Information Centre in the Heritage Centre, where walking tours of the town leave from.
