Bay, a small holidaay resort next to Margate, established
in the 19th century and the buildings reflect this along with
the gardens and promenade.
Recently the town has been almost re-invented with clean
beaches, new cinema , sports centre, pedestrianised shopping
centre and new Herons Swimming Pool.
Lots to see and do, with the King’s
Hall for shows and The Little Theatre for more local talent.
You can take boat trips for angling as well as seeing the
WWII naval and army Maunsell Sea Forts or looking at the seals.
Market on Saturdays and there is a
Tourist Information Centre. Festival in August.
