Margate, all the fun of this East Kent seaside holiday resort, with its beaches and amusements, originally developed as a Londoner's holiday area.

The resort has a lot of facilities with a theatre, cinema's, golf, fishing and good beaches. The interesting parish church, St John, has many brasses. The Theatre Royal dates from 1787.
