| Sheerness,
on the Isle of Sheppey, although you probably won't realise
it's an island, that juts out into the Thames. Henry VIII took
part of his honeymoon in the area.
Established as a 19th century dockyard town, now an expanding
port with services to Vlissingen in Holland.
Tourist Information Centre in the town.
