Whitstable
|
|
| Whitstable
is a bit less of a holiday resort than its neighbour Herne Bay,
but the town is famous for its oysters, otherwise it is very
much a working town.
Whitstable's claim
to fame is that the worlds first regular rail passenger service
went from here to Canterbury.
Single privately owned shingle beach on the Thames estuary.
