How to get here

Whitstable is a bit less of a holiday resort than its neighbour Herne Bay, but the town is famous for its oysters, otherwise it is very much a working town.

Whitstable's claim to fame is that the worlds first regular rail passenger service went from here to Canterbury.

Single privately owned shingle beach on the Thames estuary.

Tourist Information Centre in the town.
