travel north before Cumbria, just inland.
It's claim to fame
is that the old railway station at Carnforth was used in the
film Brief Encounter in 1945.
Nice quite area just north of here, with tidal
sands at the edge of Morecambe Bay, so visit Leighton and Silverdale. |
