Boston
|
|
| Boston, once a major seaport, and the
town still reflects this in its historic buildings such as the Boston Stump, the 272 foot
tower of the 14th century St Botolph's church, used as a navigation aid. The town declined as trade with America increased and
today the harbour is partially silted up.
All around the town the landscape is very flat.
