This tranquil and pleasantly laid out cemetery is the last resting place of the suffragette Emmeline Pankhurst. 

Catacombs by the main entrance welcome visitors. 

The peace is only disturbed on Saturday afternoons, when Chelsea Football Club are playing at home; the huge Stanford Bridge stadium overlooks the tombs.
