All Souls, Langham Place was
designed by John Nash, a favourite of the Prince Regent.
Built in 1822 - 24 and the only Nash church in London, the
building was much ridiculed at the time for its mixture of
styles and the slenderness of its spire.
All Souls, Langham Place has
long been associated with the BBC.
The church, situated opposite
Broadcasting House, often doubles as a recording studio for
the daily broadcast service.
All Souls holds occasional free
concerts, especially organ recitals.
