Queen Elizabeth's Hunting Lodge
Ranger's Road, Chingford, London E4 7QH

Set on the southern edge of Epping Forest, this timber framed Tudor building was originally built, in 1543, for Henry VIII.

Elizabeth I repaired and altered the building adding a chimney, and the building was used as the home of the bailiff of the Manor of Chingford Earls.

A small museum illustrating its construction and use in hunting.
