Gabriel's Wharf stands beside the OXO Tower on the South Bank. 

The pleasant square, set back from the river, is formed by the backs of warehouses painted to resemble house-fronts.  Surrounding a bandstand, where Jazz bands sometimes play in the summer, Gabriel's Wharf Market is an attractive group of craft shops, boutiques and cafés.  A few stalls are arranged around the courtyard, selling ethnic clothing, jewellery and ceramics. 

Beside the Thames, a short walk from Gabriel's Wharf, is the Riverside Walk Market.  Set out in front of the National Film Theatre, this specialises in new and second-hand books and prints.
