This museum of local history
is in a 16th Century manor house in 20 acres of parkland,
the former home of Sir Rowland Hill, famous for introducing
the Penny Post.
Opened as a Museum in 1906 it
is the home of the Borough of Haringey's local history collections
Exhibitions cover the history of the local area and Bruce
Castle itself, and include many examples of local paintings,
photographs and prints.
There is an interactive exhibition
devoted to local inventors and temporary local history and
art exhibitions.
