With the aid of local voices
in the Lifetimes, an award-wining permanent exhibition, this
small museum relates Croydon's history from 1830. This exhibition
uses touchscreens to lead you through famous and more ordinary
lifes.
In the Riesco Gallery is a collection
of Chinese pottery and ceramics, donated local businessman
Raymond Riesco.
The museum is in the Clocktower,
a cultural centre with live performance, art house cinema,
Central Library, cafe, balcony bar, shop and tourist information
centre.
