The Broadgate Centre is a new shop, restaurant and office development along the west side of Liverpool Street Station. 

In the summer the outdoor arena, with its waterfall, cascading foliage and modern sculpture, hosts a season of lunchtime concerts.  

The varied programme is often performed by up-and-coming musicians.  In the winter the arena features an open-air ice rink.
