The former Chorlton Street Coach Station has recently refurbished and re-opened as the Manchester Central Coach Station.  From here there is about a 10 minute walk to the main areas of the city but free Metroshuttle Buses link all the main railway, coach and bus stations, shopping areas and businesses in the city centre.

Centrally located in Piccadilly Gardens, this is the city centre's main bus depot.  Buses run from here to most outlying areas of the city   Free Metroshuttle Buses run from here, linking all the main railway, coach and bus stations, shopping areas and businesses in the city centre.  The bus station is also a Metrolink tram station.
