Huyton,
a bustling town on the outskirts of Liverpool, has a pedestrianised
centre boasting an indoor market and a number of independent
shops as well as the usual High Street shops.
The town is home to the National
Wildflower Centre at Court Hey Park. One of only two of
its kind in the world, the centre helps the conservation and
creation of wildflower landscapes.
Harold Wilson, the former Prime
Minister, was MP for Huyton.
