Set on
the banks of the Congrebury Yeo river, the village of Congresbury
lies 7 miles north of Weston-super-Mare and 13 miles south
of Bristol.
The settlement
is named after Saint Congar, who is said to have performed
3 miracles in the area.
Congresbury,
dominated by the magnificent Mendip Hills, has long been an
agricultural community and still has several working farms.
