The Prebendal Manor House at Nassington PE8 6QG, 6 miles north of Oundle,A Grade I Listed Building dating from the early-13th century surrounded by gardens.  The recreated 14th century garden covers 5 acres - designed by Michael Brown. Lyveden New Bield, PE8 5AT, 4 miles south-west of Oundle, off A427, Lyveden New Bield (or Build) was begun in 1594 by the Sir Thomas Tresham as a garden lodge, a two storey building illustrating the Elizabethan love of symbolism. The abandoned building has around it the outlines of a formal garden, one of the oldest surviving garden layouts in England. Walks and woodland.

Southwick Hall, PE8 5BL, 3 miles north of Oundle, 4 miles east of Bulwick, Southwick Hall, privately owned, is a stone-built manor house set in the valley of the River Nene. The origins of the house date back to the 14th century but has been considerably altered and extended up until the 19th century. Exhibition on Victorian and Edwardian Life.
