Bamburgh
|
|
| Bamburgh,
a small coastal town, looking out towards Farne Islands just
offshore.
The town has a great, impressive, large Norman castle.
Bamburgh is famous for Grace Darling, who, with her father
rowed out to save 9 people from a wrecked ship in 1838, there
is a shrine in the 13th century church's church yard.
