Bellingham
|
|
| Bellingham,
a small town at the centre of the area, also known locally as
Bellingjam, don't ask us why !
Bellingham is a market town, on the North Tyne river, which
is a good entrance point into the wilds of the Kielder Forest
and as a walking base.
Once had a flourishing iron industry, but now a tourist point.
