Hexham

| Hexham,
an attractive old town aside the River Tyne with a market, good
as a centre for Hadrian's Wall modern day explorers.
There are old houses around the market square, near the abbey,
including the Moot Hall and the 14th century Manor Office,
which used to be the town gaol.
Horse racing at nearby Hexham racetrack.
Tourist bus runs along to several
