in 1991, the Gallery has a national and international reputation
as a contemporary visual arts venue.The gallery stages around
15 temporary exhibitions a year by dynamic living artists, often

in the School of Art and Design, the Gallery is the University's
exhibition space for contemporary arts. The gallery promotes
a wide ranging programme of events across the visual and performing
arts. Much of the work is innovative. The scale of the gallery
makes it suitable for multi-discipline events and large-scale
installations.

in the Malt Cross, the Empire presents work by local artists
throughout the year. The former music hall is one of the best
restored venues of its kind, with an arched glass roof, which
also also has a bar, performance area, basement restaurant and
shop.

in the stableyard of the spectacular Wollaton Hall, this gallery
offers a changing programme of exhibitions exploring art and
the environment. Since its opening in 1996 the gallery has
hosted nationally acclaimed exhibitions.

This venue
shows the work of local and regional artists. It is also used
for lunchtime talks, preview nights and special events. Open
