Stonebridge City Farm Stonebridge Road, St Ann's, Nottingham NG3 2FR
Established in 1979, this urban farm has lots to see including cattle, poultry, lambs, pigs, rabbits and Guinea pigs.  Other highlights include Giant African Land Snails, a wormery and bee hives. The farm also has a play area, café and farm shop..

Wollaton Park Wollaton, Nottingham NG8 2AE
Wollaton Park is an historic deer park surrounding spectacular Wollaton Hall, an Elizabethan mansion now owned by Nottingham City Council.  West of the city, the 500 acres of parkland is still grazed by herds of Red Deer and Fallow Deer. Large lake, Sensory Garden and playgrounds,  and the Grade I listed Wollaton Hall, completed in 1588, is home to the city's Natural History Museum. The Courtyard Stables house Nottingham's Industrial Museum, Steam Engine House, Wollaton Visitor Centre and the Yard Gallery.

The National Water Sports Centre Adbolton Lane, Holme Pierrepont, Nottingham, NG12 2LU
3 miles east of Nottingham, signposted from A52, Set in 270 acres of country parkland, this purpose-built centre was designed to train athletes and stage national and international sporting events. On the River Trent,the river and the 2,000 m regatta lake provide a range of water sports including dinghy sailing, windsurfing, canoeing, rowing and power-boat handling. Man-made slalom course for canoeing and white water rafting and water skiing lagoon, with cable tow.

Nottingham Race course, set within the 260 acres of Colwick Park, lies just two miles from the city centre off the A612.  Programme of 21 flat fixtures from April to November.

The Tales of Robin Hood 30-38 Maid Marian Way, Nottingham NG1 6GF
Located 2 minutes from Nottingham Castle, where legend and adventure live on. Highlights include the 'Shoot the Sheriff' archery practice, 'Travel back in time' adventure ride, 'Silver Arrow Trail' detective game, Knights and Nobles brass rubbing and Falconery Displays at the centre or in the Castle grounds.
