Uffington is only a small village, in the Vale Of the White Horse, the B4507 runs along the edge of the valley.

The famous Ridgeway path runs along the top of the hills, the path has a long history dating from pre-Roman times.

St Mary's Church had a famous warden, John Betjeman, the poet.

Uffingham Castle, B4507,Iron Age hill fort with a long barrow, Waylands Smithy nearby, good views.
 
White Horse, B4507, 374 ft horse carved in the chalk of the downs overlooking the valley, possibly 3000 years old, a magical place stand in the eye, turn around 3 times for a wish to be granted. You can stroll the rideway from here.
