Burnham-on-Sea

| Burnham-on-Sea,
a summer family holiday resort, about as traditional as they
get, good beaches though, seven miles of sand with sand
dunes. Off the coast is a couple of small islands.
You can walk along
the Esplanade, which overlooks Bridgwater Bay, and visit the
Pavilion, there are two lighthouses nearby. The lighthouse
on the beach is nine-legged.
This small town has
an interesting church which has carvings from the now demolished
Palace of Westminster

Ashton
Windmill,
at Chapel Allerton, follow the A38 east and turn off south down
small roads, signposted, 18th century, last complete windmill
