SomersetCrewkerne

Crewkerne, an interesting small town, well worth a stop to wander around the square and small streets. Very cheap all day parking.

The town had two main industries, flax weaving and sail making, and the buildings are still there.

Also worth a look is the old Grammar School, and 17th and 18th century alms houses. The 15th century church has some nice features.

Quite a few antique shops and places to have afternoon tea. Georgian buildings in the town, which is dominated by the church.
