SomersetDunster

Dunster, sitting on the edge of Exmoor, this town is worth a visit to wander along the main street with its medieval buildings. The parish church is 15th century, one of the finest in Somerset.

The town was preserved as it is today as it is a relic of the time when it and castle was owned by the Luttrells family. They owned it for 600 years until 1950.

In the centre is the octangular Yarn Market, built in 1609 when cloth was important to the town's trade.

Its main attraction is the town's castle above the town.
