Frome
|
|
| Frome,
one of several market towns in this area of Somerset, and was
originally an important cloth centre.
Now overshadowed by
nearby Bath, the town has many preserved buildings, there
is a Heritage Walk to follow along the narrow streets, and
you can see the restored church..
Cheap Street has a
watercourse running through it, and 18th century almshouses
and houses are by the bridge over the River Frome.
