Langport, a small town along  the side of the River Parrett.

Some nice buildings in and around the town which stretches down the main road.

Visitor centre and cycle hire for the cycle way along the river.

Somerset Cider Brandy Company, Kingsbury Episcopi, take the road to Long Sutton, a nice village, then B3165, to the first licensed cider distillery, see the works and the cider orchards, shop, etc,Tel: 01460 240782
 
Martock, take the B3165 to this small village with a good church and an old court house which was converted to a grammar school.
 
East Lambrook Manor Garden, take the B3165 towards Martock, gardens of a 15th century house, designed by by Margery Fish, collection of geraniums, shop, etc Tel: 01460 240328 Admission Charge  Open:Apr-Oct Mon-Sat  More On The Gardens

Priests House, also at Mulchelney,turn off the A372, National Trust, very small priest's house 14th century   Admission Charge 
 
Somerton, worth a look, on the B3153, a small old town with a 17th century market cross, Georgian buildings, and a church to look at.
