Porlock
|
|
| Porlock,
the main town is on the road between Lynmouth and Minehead,
in a dip with steep hills in all directions. So steep one of
them is used for hill-climbing competitions.
There are some pleasant
cottages in the town, which gets busy with traffic in the
summer.
To the north, and
down the hill, is the coast and Porlock Weir, with its small
harbour, again it gets busy in the summer.
