Bergholt
|
|
| East
Bergholt, is the birthplace of Constable, 1776, and
hence its attraction to artists from all over the world.
The village features in many of his famous paintings.
The village is very busy in the summer, and is on the River
Stour with a nice church.
Tour the surrounding villages to discover more of the scenes
from Constable's paintings, or just walk along the watermeadows,
ideal in summer.
