Felixstowe
|
|
| Felixstowe,
developed as a seaside resort in the Victorian era, but
in the 16th century it was a Landguard fort defending Harwich.
The Martello Tower was built in 1810.
Today it is one of the most important container ports in
England with acres of land. This, together with the ferry
terminals to Europe make Felixstowe busy all year round.
