Orford
|
|
| Orford,
is overlooked by an Henry II moated castle with an 18 sided
keep. Once by the river the castle moved inland as the river
silted up and today it contains a collection of arms.
The village below is opposite Orford
Ness, across a small channel. The village has
small cottages and attractive houses, and the church
is worth a quick look.
