Central SuffolkStowmarket

Stowmarket is a large market town, once often visited by the poet John Milton whose tutor, Thomas Young, lived here at the vicarage.

There are Georgian and Victorian houses around the market square, as well as a 18th century workhouse at Stow Lodge Hospital.

Outside the town on the B1113, Needham Market church is worth a look.
