| Woodbridge,
an old port on the River Deben, with 16th century
houses around the market square, the centre piece is the Shire
Hall, built by Thomas Seckford.
There are two old mills, one of which is dependent
on the tide, sited on the quayside.
Popular as a sailing centre now, the town looks and feels
prosperous. There is an old boatyard that now builds pleasure
craft.
Famous fair held at Woodbridge on or about October 23rd,
St Audrey's Fair.
