Llanrhidian is a sleepy traditional village in the rural countryside of the Gower Peninsula.
To the west of the village are the picturesque ruins of Weobley Castle, overlooking the sandy marshflats of the northern Gower coastline. This amazingly well-preserved building was an impressive fortified manor house built in the early 14th century.
