Oxwich is a pretty village next to one of the loveliest beaches on the beautiful Gower Peninsula.
With miles of wide golden sands, dunes and wonderful views, the beach is very popular and can get very busy at peak times in the main access area around the village car park. However, with stunning Three Cliffs Bay just to the east and Port Eynon to the West, to name just two more glorious Gower beaches, there is space enough for everyone to find a peaceful spot.
Oxwich castle is a picturesque ruined mansion dating from the 16th century built in a commanding position overlooking the coast.
