Spa, or Royal Leamington Spa, was a Victorian favourite,
and Queens Victoria's statue stands in The Parade.
It has a large shopping area with precinct, cinema (difficult
to find , Lucy!), theatre, pubs, and a park by the river.
Car parking is easy in this town on the wide streets.
Glorious Georgian, Regency and Victorian buildings mix surprisingly
easily with modern buildings.
Take the waters in the restored Pump Rooms, 1814 but rebuilt
in 1925. Tourist information centre in the town.
