Warwick, is a pleasant town steeped in history, with its market square with shops all around, although the 1960's looking council offices sit rather uncomfortably with the surrounding buildings.
The town was ravaged by fire in 1694, but still some medieval buildings remain, as does Queen Anne and Georgian buildings.
There is a pleasant and large park down by the river where you can hire a boat.
Not much to do in the evening as most entertainment can be found in nearby Leamington Spa.
As well as the visitor attractions in the town Warwick also has a local racecourse.
