Great Malvern, or just Malvern, is a spa town, and famous for it's Malvern water that led to it's growth a spa resort during the Victorian era when people came here for health treatments.

The town is an inland resort overlooked by the Malvern Hills and the 1,400 foot Worcestershire Beacon, with its St Ann's well.

In the town see the Priory church with its 15th century stained glass and pop into the nearby museum.

For villages to visit Hanley Castle, on the B4211, and Hanley Swan on the B4209 with it's duck pond and green are worth a try as is Little Malvern, south on the A4104, with St. Wulstan's church where Elgar is buried as well as the Little Malvern Priory church and Little Malvern Court.
